Stinkbug eggs (Pentatomid sp.) on milkweed leaf

I have frequently found stinkbug eggs on the underside of milkweeds. I don't know if they lay their eggs here simply because the broad leaves offer a good base, or whether the adults of whichever species is in these particular eggs preys on monarch caterpillars.
