Wukoki Pueblo was three stories high with six or seven rooms for two or three families. The walls were built with sandstone slabs and soil for mortar and originally plastered with mud inside and out for insulation and waterproofing. Timber carried from the San Francisco Mountains area would've provided beams for the roof construction.
