It is generally said that mosque with the richest decorations in Istanbul is Rüstempaşa Camii, and it certainly is beautiful. But nothing could have prepared me for the overwhelming emotions I felt when I saw the splendour and beauty of the inside of Yeni Camii... It left me in absolute awe, I could sit inside it for hours in pure admiration!
