A couple of my friends wanted to check out something in a woods near us and so since I needed some exercise I decided to go along. We had a great two and half hour hike in the woods and on the way back out we found this Great Horned Owl sitting in her nest and it sure looks like there is some white fuzz in there as well so I'm guessing she has two owlets in there with her.
Great surprise find for the day.
