Thank you for these photos of Solulta. I lived in Addis in the late 80s/early 90s, and like to think that I was at least partially responsible for "discovering" Solulta as a birdwatching area! We went there often, but for some reason I never took a photo. Amazing though it often seemed, during the rains the whole plain springs to life with grasses growing taller than a man - and with a completely different set of birds to watch and admire.
