This snowshoe hare looked a little grumpy. This may be explained by:
i) It still has its winter coat in our snowless environment, making it an easier target for predators and photographers.
ii) Last week temperatures were around +25C. On this morning cool temps and very strong winds made it feel like -16C. Now that's enough to make anyone grumpy!
