Monument to Minin and Pozharsky

Guarding the front of St. Basil's is the bronze monument to prince Dmitry Minin & Kuzma Pozharsky,
who gathered the all-Russian volunteer army
that expelled the forces of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from Moscow,
thus ending the Time of Troubles in 1612.
