My Louisiana as Seen Through My Eyes

Louisiana Swamp

I'm thinking of blowing this one up and hanging. What is your opinion? This must have been what John James Audubon saw when he came to Louisiana in the 1800's to paint his birds. Looks like land but it is swampland and you'd sink far if you stepped in it.

Yes, do it Coleen...iris as far as the eye can see...and you could see them the whole year round!

It certainly is gorgeous with the irises and grass and stand of trees. I love the painterly quality. I would hang it.

I agree, frame it and hang it! I also sometimes wonder what they experiences back then when they had never seen photos of these places in National Geographic or LIfe. It was all new, untouched by industrial minded man.
