This ranks as one the rarest lashups that I have ever photographed on the North End Subdivision. Southbound coal train T309-11 is powered on this dreary day by UP SD40T-2 No. 8800 and UP SD60 No. 2234. The 8800 was built as SP 8255 in April of 1980. It was scrapped less than three years after this photo was taken.
