Beautiful Waikiki ??

The question isn't Waikiki. The question is whether Waikiki is still beautiful. In most parts of Waikiki beach, the sand is almost completely gone.

They just started a restoration project so it should be better in few months. But with so many beaches in Hawaii / Oahu, why do so many people stay in Waikiki beach? I'll never know.
