So, how about doing nothing? Having been badly bruised by the Beloved dumping me like that a week before OUR Holiday, I booked a night of luxury at the Sukhothai Hotel. Arriving in Bangkok, I felt like this was no longer needed, but it was all paid, for, so I set off in a cab from my favourite ever hotel to the perhaps classiest hotel in Bangkok.

So, I've lounged in the superb pillows on my superb double bed for an hour and had three espressos in my bedroom. I have taken a fluffy robe and went down to the chlorine free pool. I swam a few laps and ate some perfectly shaped complimentary apples. I drank two litres of the free inaeral watersa and visited the luxurious toilets in the health club. I shall go to the sauna, then the steam room, then yoga later in the evening. Then I shall lay in my bed and read the Thai Tatler. Have I perfected my rich bitch pout enough? Oh, I shall retreat to my bath room and practice a bit more.
