Lise and Pali are crossing the main road in Nong Khiaew, attired for a leisurely lunch. By now Lise, Voolker and I made up a nice little group and travelled together for a few days. Lise was always good picking up new people, like Pali, an architect from Argentina, when they shared the front seat of the minibus and joined together in pestering the driver for a toilet stop.
