Many moons ago,I climbed to the top of that tower,ably led by a Mr.Cruickshank,the Verger,I think.But,to get out onto the walkway,one had to negotiate a tiny door.I recall,I was on my hands and knees,going through it.My daughters,Kirsty and Jamie were there too and we all enjoyed the view from the top.NB: This church is clearly visible from the M25,travelling in an anti-clockwise direction.Nestling as it does just at the M25/M11 interchange.If you look at the image again,you can hear the thrum of traffic in the background.
