This image up to N°2468 were taken in good light with the 70-200 vr1, f2.8, mostly with tripod. This lens is the best combination with the Nikon V1 and the ft1 mount. Its fairly easy to handle, even handheld, and offers enough magnification and zoom latittude to catch small birds in ideal conditions. Of course its a bit short for larger birds further away, where the 300 and the 500mm, with tripod, offer the best option.
