Looking for something for the challenge two weeks ago, I found an old paperback with pin ups and erotic drawings by Alberto Vargas (1896 -1982).
Vargas was one of the most famous painters of pin-up girls. He not only portraited models but also a lot of Hollywood heroes.
Moreover Vargas today is regarded as one of the best artists, concerning a special technique: airbrushing.
Vargas worked for Hollywood studios and later for magazines like Esquire and Playboy.
Thus with his drawings and paintings he was responsible for a lot of collective dreams and illusions within several decades, I think.
Well, it may not be reality, but the fiction remains a timeless beauty.
Added some softness to this picture from about 1953 by moving my camera and some postprocessing.
