Jerry V. Kettleman
(November 5, 1947 - December 2, 2011)

Mr. Jerry V. Kettleman, age 64, of 266 Providence Ch. Rd., Tallapoosa passed away Friday December 2, 2011. He was born November 5, 1947 to the late Harold and Loretta Myers Kettleman.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Jones Kettleman and brothers George Cochran and Hoagy Kettleman.

Mr. Kettleman served in the U.S. Marines in Vietnam and was retired after many years from the Automotive Parts business.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law John and Tabatha Owen of Tallapoosa; grandsons, John David Owen, Dillon Owen, and Shane Owen, all of Tallapoosa; brother and sister-in-law John and Arlene Cochran of North Port, FL; Special friend Mary Scholtz.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Hazel Glover officiating. Music will be provided by Tim Hand. Pallbearers serving will be Jack Davis, Earl Wingo, Joe Samples, Johnny King, Ronnie Williams, John Lockhart, Heath Cash, and Walt Headrick. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Saxon, Gerald Mann and Walter Robinson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 4, 2011 between the hours of 5 and 8.
