Wow does this bring back memories!
Haven't seen many of you since Mckee and The Haig.
last contacts were Gary Jackson who worked for my Cartage Company
and Bill (Lumpy) Hilliard who taught me to fly at Maple Airport.
Moved to Mississauga til 2010 and now retired on Georgian Bay.
Still see Larry Metcalfe and other Earl Haig Alumni. Remember
playing musical Chairs at Chucks 10th Birthday Party on Parkview.

Hi I went to Mckee at the same time, I think I was in the class , my name is
Pat Draper (missing from the above list) Miss Swanson was my grade 6 teacher
also missing is Ellen Blain, and Elizabeth Pengally (sorry for the spelling)
now I could be off by a year but remember most of the faces
thanks for posting them

Very dissapointed I don, t see my name on the student list. I see my classmates, even a name of my best friend who lived across the road from me 'Dorothy Riley', even a.boy i had a childhood crush on, Jim Hilliard', but where am I. I was there then. Lorna Whalen sad to be left out.

Thanks for this Charles. I don't remember much from those days so this brings back fond memories. I think that's me second from left bottom row - Steve Marzotto.

Hi All! Enjoy the reunion! Sorry to miss it! I am not in this pic as I was one of 8 or so grade 5's stuck with a class of grade 6's (Mr Jones). Not the best year of my life as I learned to tune out what was probably interesting stuff! I think the girl on the left in the back row is Judy Whittingstall. It was always a pleasure to be around Judy as she was the only girl taller than I was! Many familiar faces/names in all these pics - but not sure I would recognize them on the street. Too funny that I went all the way through university with Steve Marzotto, never realizing that he was in my grade 6 class! Thanks so much to Janice Metcalfe for tracking me down!

Continuing on. The names of those in the class of 1961 grade five.
Front row. Dieter Schmit, unknown, Paul Gatzos, we are regularly in touch in the old neighborhood, Gary Jackson, Alan Tudhope, Bobby Edmonson, unknown and a tough little kid too, Roy Schafer, he and his father would take an evening walk after supper in the old European tradition, down Parkview, passed our house to Yonge Street and back. Kevin Townsend, played trumpet in Mr. Barkers school band, Dorothy Riley who passed away some years ago, Elizabeth Kieler and Joan Heart.

OK! Guys, lets start with a few names from the class photo of the class of grade five, 1960! Left to right. Here goes.
Two girls, then Bobby Delong, one shy girl, then Bob Bell, Beverly, last name ?, Ian Roberts, who befriended me when I lost my love, a girl unknown, Ruth Dyer, Susan Ardagh, John in the background whom we all called Yogi, Dorothy Polito, one of my other sweet heats, Bonnie Elliot, unknown, Louise Mathews, Doug Patterson, Barbara Lowcock, unknown, Sharon Smith, who taught me how to tie my shoe laces in kindergarten, Bob Fleming and two more unknown sweet hearts. That's all of the back row.

Stay tuned for more as time goes by. :)

WOW! This photo really brings back memories. I can hear and see so much activity in the school yeard and the class room. Mr. Cober's history classes were so exiting that I almost became a history major. He could weave a story about Marco Polo that had us all spell bound. I will be including a list of names for the main page as soon as possible and more historic items. Time is tight these days but we have the rest of the year to expand this site until as many of us as possible can get together and celebrate our 50th anniversay of graduation from McKe Ave. Public School. There will be a massive cake designed and produced by my master cake maker and decorator so stand by and keep checking the site. Even if only a few show up it will be a sucess!
