Hall roof HDR

Taken at Stokesay Castle in Shropshire in the Solar block looking into the Hall through one of the two peep holes. I had to wait a while until the hall was free of people listening to the audio guides.
It was raining and very dull at the time.

Stokesay Castle is quite simply the finest and best preserved fortified medieval manor house in England. Set in peaceful countryside near the Welsh border, the castle, timber-framed gatehouse and parish church form an unforgettably picturesque group.

I had a play with HDR with this shot.

Fab, the HDR treatment is so well suited to this situation. I didn't notice the circle on the floor. I thought an old well at first, but not an obvious place for a well.
Congrats on getting an empty hall :0)

thats a fantastic view of the south end; you must have done a bit of work taming the distortions from a lens that wide...and is this from floor level or did you manage to poke camera through the peep-hole of the solar?
