Top Image: After coming down from the tree, the adult again looks for junior.


Next a stand-up look in our direction.


Then another peek in the direction of junior.


Junior, like the adult, stands on its hind legs for a better look at us and at the adult Marten.


Apparently satisfied that we are no threat to its food supply, the adult resumes to chase junior who promptly disappears, only to reappear shortly right below the feeder.


Junior quickly climbs to the feeder, manages a few bites; but alas, the adult is coming and the chase resumes.
