The next day we headed over to Wekiwa Springs. I did get some bird shots which are in the Florida Birds Gallery. Not much was happening there and we decided to head over to Blue Springs State Park to see the Manatees. While I've seen a lot of manatees, I've never seen so many in one place. There had to be have been 10-20 in the springs today. A calf will stay with its mother for one to two years. It appeared that some of the mothers may have had a family pod with a younger and older sibling traveling together. This was one of the older siblings.
