Feb 15 - Flashed Teasel

I’m determined to practice and learn how to use a flash, so that was my one rule for tonight’s PAD. I had to use flash.
This teasel at least was a patient, static subject.

There is a long way to go to even begin to understand how to use the thing but I’m aspiring to be a flasher!

Nikon D300S ,Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D AF Micro
1/60s f/5.6 at 105.0mm iso400 full exif

Very well flashed. It always surprises me how soft these spikes looking plants feel

Love the background, subtle use of flash. After becoming proficient with flashing you should try mooning, though I would recommend doing this in the privacy of your home!

I guess I should start using mine to learn a bit about it, but I do find it daunting.
