Three days of lively Timkat celebrations in Gondar, Ethiopia culminated in a ceremony where the waters near a church were blessed, allowing the groups of teenagers, crowding and jostling for position closest to the edge, to jump. This festival celebrating epiphany is carried out by members of the Orthodox Christian faith.
