Millstone

Aberdeenshire

After a good few months of doing very little and getting generally rounder, I decided that it was time to get back to a spot of light hillwalking. I went up the Millstone Hill part of Bennachie and it was cold.....Meg looked at the frozen water in dismay. Mither Tap in the distance looks as impressive as ever. I think a trip there next week is a definite.

Great monochrome of a spectacular view. You have incredible scenery.

Great in B&W makes you feel the cold and I like the composition taken from behind and offset from the cairn

A scene I will never see in person. :) Beautiful. I love the point of view, subdued color and ruggedness of the subject. V
