Unaware or not?

Usually the little green heron flies as soon as I stop my car but this one just sat. I wonder if it knew that big alligator was there. I didn't, until I processed this photo otherwise I would have shooed the heron away.

Nice that you got this photo of this elusive bird. It's beautiful. I bet the heron is faster than the alligator. I hope so.
