Absorbent alcohol stoves made from wedding favor tins (Aluminum). The tins come with a clear plastic insert in the lid. This insert is popped out and a 2" Dia. stainless steel mesh insert is put in. The inserts are available in 20, 40 and 60 Mesh precut. The absorbent is ceramic fiber. This stove will butrn for about 10 minutes on 15mL of alcohol. It is a very light and compact stove, but is full power only. Since the alcohol is absorbed by the fiber, the stove can't be emptied of fuel except by burning or evaporation.
