Its amazing how over the last few years LED technology has started to be used more widely. We have gone from Incandescent lamps with a power consumption of 100W to Fluorescent 40W
to low power energy savers 12w and now to LED lamps 4w. Its starting to make solar power an option . Well here in sunny South Africa anyway. This LED is from a string of 30
lamps that burns the whole night on a days charge, the cell is about 3” X 2” . I have replaced most of the down lighter lamps with led lamps in the house and gone from 500w to 40w consumption on those lamps.
