Ce moulin à vent octogonal est situé dans la ville de Koog Aan de Zaan, près d'Amsterdam.
Il a été construit en 1751, probablement sur d'anciennes fondations!
Aujourd'hui un quartier résidentiel l'entoure et il fait face à une petite école.
