Built in the 15th century, the Drosselgasse is a very narrow pedestrian lane made for boat owners to move items direct from the river to their homes in the town. Today it is one of Rüdesheim's most famous tourist attractions. Live bands play dance music all day and night during the summer inside its many wine taverns and in some of their gardens.
