protocol

it was reassuring to note the cables and ropes on the life-raft launch mechanism looked in working order...it seemed a good spot to hang out too, as in the event of an emergency launch of the small inflatable boats, I could play my part in observing the standard protocol...women, children, and pbase photographers go first

Very well composed image with the view to the island. Glad you did not need to put your protocol theory to the test. v

Nicely composed. A very ship-shape boat! V

I agree with Millie...just thinking of the historical record, of course.

I like the colour palette and symmetry in this image and good to know you
have your escape plan figured.

The launching rig provides great framing and details of interest. Good to learn you have the evacuation protocol memorized. Very nice background by the way. "V"

I like the symmetrical composition here .

lol, why are the photographers behind the women and children? Someone has to be below capturing the images as the children and women descend --- for the best angle, of course. Meanwhile, this is a lovely image with the red ropes providing some dash to a pretty symmetrical image.
