This was my first trip to the palouse. I discovered the views from Steptoe Butte and end up there each time I go back. I had a lot to learn and I picked up some tips from a couple of other photographers familiar to the area. These photos were early in the afternoon and sunset was pretty blah this day. Later I was to learn what colors the late afternoon sun could add.
