Glad that you are getting the snow and not us here in Upstate NY (though the weatherman say it's coming!)...Beautiful photo.

It looks so dismal cold & grey...so contrasting for us in summer!

It is an cold looking scene, but I like the view over the filed!! So good association to the title! V.

Great job capturing the feeling of gray, winter days! V

I can see the streaks of snow against the darker tones. This looks more than just a warning. Nice how you positioned the two trees in the frame with the fence running uphill between them. V

Hold on, button up your coat, here comes the wind
The photo looks so cold and bleak - well done Karen
Inga Morozoff08-Dec-2011 02:48
That's quite nice...I like the softness. It seems to work well for this scene.

I agree with Laine. We are very cold (for here) at 29 tonight! I have a yard full of tropical plants that are covered like mummies. Your photo looks very dreary, the tones from the film really work well to convey the mood. V

The black and white tones add to the feel of winter weather.

It looks very cold and I'm pleased not to be there :))

Brrrrr. It is cold here so I can imagine what you're getting.

Cold, cold. Beautiful shot. You know Sylvia Plath wrote a book with a similar title. Before her suicide, of course...
