5th - Decapod

Cheltenham, Glos.

It's funny isn't it, likes and dislikes...? I mean, how can folk *not* like the humble prawn? Or ham for that matter? Or even fish? Weird...but I suppose it takes all sorts and the world would be a lot less interesting if we all liked (or disliked) the same things :o))

Me? I will (and frequently do) eat anything and everything LOL!!!

I am one who dislikes many foods, but I love prawns, ham and most fish. I like this image too. V

On your thoughts on "...it takes all sorts...", I wrote this some years ago.

"We often use the expression "That's apples and oranges!". We do so disparagingly, when someone argues that two thing are the same, which we believe are different. Sometimes, we thoughtlessly apply this thinking to reject people who are in some way different from ourselves. They may be a different race, sex, age, or have a different sexual orientation, social status or religion-whatever! But apples and oranges have much in common. They both are fruit, grow on trees, have seeds, taste good and provide nourishment. They are also different from each other, but aren't we all better off that our world has both apples AND oranges.
