Birds on Pond

December Challenge - Book Titles: The Birds

The Novelette, "The Birds" by Daphne Du Maurier was the inspiration for
Alfred Hitchcock's Movie. The director kept only the title and the concept
of birds attacking the residents of a small town.

The book was set in England, the movie in California.

In both hundreds of birds descended on a small town, first hauntingly like
the birds in this photo and then they became violent, attacking the people.

In the book they were water birds like the Canada Geese on the water and
the white Ducks on the right shore seen here.
