SX40 vs. 7d + 456. Same distance, handheld, 100% crop, owl is about 60 meters away

SX40: iso100, f5.8, 1/640, 150.5mm
7d+456: iso200, f5.6, 1/2000, 400mm

It was very interesting to see that both have almost identical 'pixel per owl'!
