Sadly, the American Orchid Society, with its headquarters west of Delray Beach closing the gardens and greenhouse to the public permanently.
The Coral Gables garden will become the new home of the western Delray Beach-based American Orchid Society. The society has sold its building, gardens and greenhouse to the Sandra C. Slomin Foundation and Family Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.
