The PZL I-22 Iryda, fisrt flying in 1985, was a fiasco. The victim of changed times. Lack of funding after the fall of the wall was the main reason the type never entered production. The Polish air force started to evaluate the Iryda between 1990 and 1996, for which 8 examples were used. I-22 0204 was one of them, here pictured at the static line of Bydgoszcz, 1996. 0204 was retired shortly after the picture was taken and its now on display in Warsaw.
