For the November Challenge - Things in my world

"One of the things you own but never use"

These are a set of 4 long steamed wine glasses that I never use

I bought them in Norfolk Island
( an island in between Australia and New Zealand)
about 12 odd years ago

They are handmade ARNSTADT KRISTALL
made by master craftsmen in Germany, and are 24% lead crystal.

They are absoultely beautiful, and I'm too scared to use them,
but I LOVE to just look at them in my lounge.

They are indeed gorgeous. But to me, they would be even more gorgeous filled with a fine wine and sweetly pressed to your lips. (Now THAT would be a picture)

aaah but you've enjoyed their beauty and so you have in a sense used them. I wouldn't be able to use them for their intended purpose either though. Beautiful! Great PoV!

Yes, I have my mother's crystal and bone china and it sits in the china cabinet. I'm afraid to touch it. LOL. This is an awesome photo! I love the sparkles and colors.

I love this type of crystal. I also have a similar set of 6 and do use them when we entertain. :) .....but I do understand your fear of breakage!
