Salen Wrecks - take 2,3 & 4 - Merged

I am not certain about this - but with the darkness of the boats and the bright background it was almost impossible to get the right exposure, so ... some rather heavy handed HDR. I just hope my lad doesn't see it!

Interesting interpretation. Presents quite a different look. Nice alternative.

Great composition and I love the process. V

The pastel colouring works very well to bring out the textural differences in the boats, foreground and background!

the foreground looks more processed, and the background more natural..in balance though it is still a stellar image...some ventures have failed, spectacularly, and others triumphed...these abandoned hulks certainly have lasting presence...yet the distant outpost seems more solid...V
