If you add yeast to a certain type of cassava, called butter cassava, it will ferment and becomes soft and sweet. Although originally famous in West Java but this is now very popular throughout Indonesia. Depending on the age, you can taste the slight alcohol content. You can eat it like that or mix it in soft drink or ice, like ice teler, or Shanghainese ice, etc.
