This is at kawah putih or white caldera near Bandung in West Java. It is a popular destination for mostly local tourists. The caldera is filled with water but the sulphur content is not that high as evident in whittish instead of yellowish deposits on the beach or to whatever area the water extends. Plus, the smell is not overwhelming. This girl was there with a friend that took her picture while waving an Indonesian national flag. She also snapped a few shots in between using her camera. I asked Rita, that's her name whether it is OK for me to take her pictures and of course, I got her permission to do so. Here is one of the shots.
