The first flowers opened on the Meyer Lemon tree I gave Sayer for his birthday.
The scent from the flowers is glorious, though poor Sayer has a rotten cold and
cannot smell them.
It is fortunate that I got the macro lens out to take these photos as we noticed
some nasty little bugs on the leaves, citrus leafminers - eeeek!!! We had to water
the plant with some insecticide to get rid of those little pests so they do not
ruin the whole tree..
