Wessex HC.2 XS676 was delivered to the RAF in February 1965. It served most of its active life with 2FTS at RAF Shawbury, until retirement in 1997. On February 20th, 1998, the Uruguayan Armada received this Wessex as 083, but on March 1st of the same year it already crashed during a rescue attempt. XS676/WJ is here pictured in better days, serving with 2FTS.
