Milk

West Virginia

Mamiya RB67 with Polaback. Fufjifilm FP100B.

I love milk and it's good because of the Vitamin D and calcium. Every winter, due to lack of sun, I get a vitamin D deficiency. Because I drink so much milk, it's usually not too bad.

Submitted for the challenge list, "A cup you drank from today."

Other worlds can be seen here.

UPDATE: I learned a LOT from the comments here. My doctor has told me sun makes no difference in Vitamin D deficiency but I thought I knew better than him. :) I do have to take a prescription supplement most of the year.

And lest people think I spend all my time downing glasses of milk, I also drink coffee and pop with caffeine. I am a serious caffeine addict. Just those particular cups are stained and I wanted to try shooting white on white. And I actually do love milk which I know a lot of people don't like. Kind of like brussel sprouts. I like them too. :)

Women are prone to be deficient in vitamin D and calcium.

You are not going to get any significant vitamin d from milk and it is d2 which your body has trouble processing and of the whole 100 vitamin d in milk and you might need 5000 or more... there are other options even better than salmon... I take several of the 10,000 vitamin d in olive oil a couple times and week and just got back from tanning salon..

Excellent POV looking up at the full glass, making it look iconic. This is perfect in B&W and a very pretty glass. V.

Beautiful glass, and gorgeous image. I used to be a milk drinker but over the years have got away from it. V

I take prescription Vitamin D. :( I love milk on cereal or a creamy soup, but that's it. Great photo, I like the flat tones from the film! V

You love milk. I love coffee. Isn't it a great world where we can each do our own thing and still be friends!!!! (BTW, did I say that I love your photo?)
