Resized and lightly sharpened.

I named this image "Nike of Samothrace" in jest,
as the pose is so much like the Hellenistic Greek sculpture of the goddess of victory displayed on a landing
leading to the Greek and Roman galleries in the Louvre. The sculpture's wings are outstretched and blowing in
the breeze, just as the Mallard's wings are in my image.
