Norah and Steve negotiating Chupa Chups. Most of the huts sold Chupa Chups, small lollipops that Norah liked. We always had a supply on hand for hiking treats.
We had seen signs for an archaeological site and thought we'd check it out. Boy, that was a bust! It was basically a big boulder with a fence around it with some "keep out" signs. Apparently an intact skeleton of a Mesolithic hunter was found at this site (dated around 7000 years old), but there was nothing left to see now. From here we hiked up to Forcella Rossa del Formin, a saddle along Croda da Lago that provided some amazing views.
