I like the cropped version a little better, but the original does give a better sense of solitude. Really nice work on both. Great atmosphere.

This is marvelous! Why didn't you post it in the October Challenge? There is so much emotion here. The theme is obviously solitude and aloneness -- but everyone who views this will see that through a different lens. For me the solitude would be a welcome experience and a time to reflect on all that is good in life. Others will see it as painful and sad. There's a lot of life here --- a great photograph! I'm so glad I took the time to find it.
