I was playing around with the shallow DOF with this lens at a recent wedding. Even at f/2.2 I was getting some spectacular shots. It's become my fun special effects lens.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II ,Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
1/200s f/2.2 at 50.0mm iso400 full exif
