Peregrines seem to enjoy zooming up and down Duxbury Beach picking off shorebirds and other species at this time of year. This appears to be a juvenile - somewhat lighter marked than others I've seen lately. It is sitting on the west side of the stony berm that extends south from the Plum Hills parking lot; only its head was visible from the road.
