This shot was taken from the boardwalk through the bog. The golden trees are tamaracks, the red leaves are blueberry, the white tufts are cottongrass, and the rest of the low green shrubbery is a mix of Labrador tea, Kalmia, and leatherleaf. Sphagnum moss forms the bog mats on which all this grows. There are also scattered birch trees.
