After 5 days at Masai Mara, we headed to Lake Naivasha (which is still in the Rift Valley). Naivasha is formerly East Nakuru and the lake is home to over 400 species of birds.
Unfortunately our time at Lake Naivasha was short. It was raining on the way and continued in the late noon and evening when we were there.
At Lake Naivasha, we stayed at the Fish Eagle Inn. This is a popular retreat for local from Nairobi for weekend getaway.
